(2.0% x Amount) minus 3525

(2.5% x Amount) minus 13,525

Qualifying first time buyers of new or resale homes are eligible for a rebate of up to $4,000.

This is in addition to the Ontario Land Transfer Tax. Qualifying first time home buyers may receive a rebate of up to $4,475 (equivalent of the LTT payable on a $400,000 property).
